Entries for November, 2004

I'm back, at last. I've been busy for the past few weeks. I didn't even feel like it was sembreak. I got a 4 in Calculus and had to take the removal exam last Friday. I also got my classcards on that same day and they're ok. If I weren't taking Math during the first semester, I'd be a college scholar. But the thing is, I had Math and I might even have to repeat. I have no idea when I'll get the result of that exam. I was able to answer the questions and surprisingly, even had time to review my answers but I don't want to be too hopeful because I don't want to be disappointed later on (in case I get a 5). I prepared for that exam and that meant studying and staying at home. I just want to pass. I am sick and tired of getting derivatives and differentials.

Classes are starting tomorrow by the way. I have to wake up really early for my 7 AM class. It's Math 101. And I am so excited.

I just checked out prices of tickets being sold for Hanson's concert. Yes, they're coming, finally. I've been waiting for this since grade school. Ok. Some people may find this weird because everytime I'm asked about the music I listen to, I never mention them. But hey, I still like them. And besides, they're not as trying-hard-to-be-rock like the other bands out there. Moving along, I don't know if I should be happy with what I saw at Ticketnet.com. The tickets are expensive.First 4 row tickets cost P4,176.00, followed by 3,132.00, 2,610.00, 2,088.00, 1,566.00, 1,044.00, 836.00 and 522.00. Crap. My initial plan was to use my own money to pay for my ticket. But after seeing the prices, I'm not so sure. I mean, I could still push through with my original plan but that would mean getting seats in the middle or maybe even at the back. That wouldn't be fun. So, now I'm thinking of asking my folks to buy the ticket, or maybe they can pay for just a part of it and I'll pay for the rest. I don't know. I want to want to see the concert but paying P4,176 for that just doesn't sound practical. Perhaps staying in the next 4 rows or the center wouldn't be so bad.
