After staying and covering news from the Department of National Defense,  the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Philippine National Police and the Department of Interior and Local Government for almost three months, I will have to transfer  again. Well, this time, it seems on a temporary basis only, which is ok.

I am filling in for the reporter assigned to the House of Representatives who is confined in the hospital right now and I don't know how long she has to stay there. I hope she gets well soon so that I can go back to my beat. I know I said earlier that I did not really appreciate the idea of having to move from NEDA, World Bank and ADB but covering my new beat wasn't bad at all. I guess I have already adjusted.

I will have to adjust again for the new beat in the meantime. I hope things turn out well.

The reporter I'm subbing for is back. Thank God. But just when I thought things would be back to normal, it turns out I'm wrong. My editor gave the Defense assignment to the other reporter who was subbing for me and now I am left with local government units.

I am not sure about how I feel about the new set-up. I mean, I have been covering the assignment so there really is no need for adjustments. I am worried though because I might not be able to produce as much stories as I usually do with a limited assignment. I don't know. As what I always tell myself, I just have to do what I have to do.
