I love watching Asian dramas. Recently though, it has become difficult to watch these shows because some of the sites hosting the videos are not working. You can just imagine my disappointment each time the videos won't play and I just can't wait to find out what happens in the next episode. Thanks to www.midnights-dreams.com, I can now satisfy my drama addiction.

I stumbled upon the site as I was looking for the fifth episode of Down with Love with english subs since I could not find one on Youtube. So far, I am happy with the subs on this site. There are some errors in the spelling of certain words but the message is pretty much clear. You won't get confused since the words are not directly translated to English unlike what is done in some sites. The videos are of good quality too.

The site though only has videos of dramas which were recently aired. Think: Mary Stayed Out All Night and Personal Taste, which means that I would still have to check on other sites for older dramas. But since there were a lot of new ones I haven't seen yet, I can tell that I will be a frequent visitor of the site.

On another related matter, I finished watching Mary Stayed Out All Night last month and I actually liked it. Based on the reviews I read prior to watching this, many were disappointed with the ending. I guess the disappointment has a lot to do with who Mary (Moon Geun Young) chooses in the end. Some were rooting for rocker Kang Moo-kyul (Jang Geun Suk), while the others wanted her to choose Byun Jung-in (Kim Jae Wook), son of a wealthy businessman. I am a fan of Jang Geun Suk but I while I was watching the show, I was really ok with whoever Mary chooses. I felt any of the two guys deserved to be with Mary. Of course there were some parts when I felt the scenes could have been better but overall, I liked it. I hope Jang Geun Suk avoids playing the role of a musician in his next project though. This is not because I don't think he can play the role, but because I would want him to try new ones in other dramas.

I am watching Down with Love now. It's been a while since I saw a Taiwanese drama. The last one I watched if I remember correctly was Love or Bread. Going back to Down with Love, I was never a Jerry Yan (Xiang Yu Ping) fan but I like him in this show. He's funny in this drama and he works well with Ella Chen (Yang Guo). Jerry plays the role of a lawyer in this show and  he hires Ella as the nanny of his niece and nephew, on the belief that she'sa lesbian. Most of the nannies either leave because of the silly things the kids would do, or get sacked because they end up falling in love with Jerry. Jerry later on develops feelings for Ella but he tries to hide it thinking that he has no chance.

Jerry and Ella look so good together in this show. I liked Ella with Wu Chun in Hana Kimi but I think I am more of a Jerella fan than a Chunella fan now. Haha. Seven more episodes of Down with Love to go. I hope the ending does not disappoint.
