Wo Chao Xi Huan Ni
Fahrenheit's Wu Chun and Calvin Chen are in the Philippines to promote their drama Romantic Princess. My sister Angela and I saw them in the flesh yesterday. We went to ABS CBN to catch their performance. We were far from the stage though, so we didn't see them up close.
Anyhow, I am still happy to have seen both of them. Both are such fine blokes.
My sister and I did not really care if we get to see Calvin or not because we were really after Chun. Sorry Calvin fans but I wasn't really that attracted to him when I first saw him in Fahrenheit's videos. After seeing him yesterday though, I realized that pictures and videos don't give him justice. He looks so much better in person.
Chun and Calvin said that they would tell their company to try to arrange for their band to have a concert here. I do hope it can happen so that I can see them again. I would like to see Arron and Jiro as well.
I'm sounding like a teenager again. But then again, in Asia, teenagers aren't the only ones who get enthusiastic about seeing celebrities. Adults get excited too. I read in an article before that in Japan, some women skipped going to work just so they could catch a glimpse of their idols and get their autographs. Imagine having to explain to your boss that the reason you couldn't report for work was because Fahrenheit was in town. I'm pretty sure that would take a lot of effort.
Wo chao xi huan ni (I really like you) Chun and Calvin.
