Entries for February, 2004

I miss Tom. He uploaded a new photo in his Friendster. I wonder what he is doing now. I wish he never had to leave school so that I would have something good to look forward to everytime I set foot to UP.

I went to debate try-outs yesterday and I was the only applicant. They were nice, I think. I just feel exhausted. I have to train everyday after school and that's not the only thing I have to do. I still have Math 14, Biology and Psychology 101 to think about. I have exams in these subjects next week which were scheduled on the same day. It's Valentines Day today and I'm thinking about my academic load. Well, what can I do? That one guy I truly appreciate is in another part of the country. I'm in Manila and he's in Cebu. I can't wait for summer. I hope I get to see him when he comes. I guess there's no reason for me to celebrate Valentines Day.

We just had our exams in Math last Thursday and you know what??? I couldn't answer the given problems despite all my efforts to pass. I devoted almost an entire day to get to know sin, cos, tan, csc, sec and cot but it was useless. Why does Math have to be so hard? Everyone in class found the exam very difficult. We even had to extend the 1 hour and 30 minutes time to finish the exam. I do hope the prof would give considerations.

My day was great. Even if I really felt bad about my Math exam yesterday, I got a consolation. I asked Tom about my Math professor and he said that he's heard of her wrath and that I shouldn't worry because he knows I'll come through anyway. He also said that he misses us peeps of UP. I was just glad to have heard from him. He actually made me feel a lot better. Apart from this, my mom together with my sister Gigi and I went to the derma and to Nail Tropics. We pampered ourselves through a foot spa and pedicure with nail art. And to end the day, Mammy Med (i.e.my mom), Teks (my brother) and I watched "My Sassy Girl". I recommend this film to all those people out there who enjoyed reading Erich Segal's "Love Story". I liked the film a lot. Why I liked it? I won't spill the can of worms. Just go look for a copy of it and watch it.
