I usually get myself a present on certain occasions such as what I just celebrated today. However, I wasn't able to get one for myself today. The thing is, I'm not sure what it is exactly I want. I guess I'll try to figure that out first. Not that material things are what matter to me most. It's just that I think it is during special days such as today that one is excused for splurging his or her cash on anything. Anyway, even if I wasn't able to buy something for myself in time for this occasion, I got a lot of presents anyway. I'm not referring to the the stuff my friends gave me. ( Although, Dona's gift is the most unique and interesting. I just think it would have been more useful if it were given last year. But hey, I guess I still have to thank her. ) I'm talking about the people who made yesterday and today worth remembering regardless of their physical presence or lack thereof. (You know who you are and you know what I mean.) It just feels surreal to know that many people actually care and appreciate the things I do or better yet, my presence or existence. I just realized how I shouldn't be ranting about things I don't have which others do. I still have my family and friends anyway. I guess that's about enough for me to survive.
