It's just like entering puberty. Only this time, I've gone past the other stuff. (Or maybe I'm still waiting for development.) Anyway, I've got pimples all over my face right now. Big ones. I started noticing them when I came back last Monday. I've been applying my clear gel courtesy of Dr. Forres but the zits are still sticking out. I'm not really vain. Other people are noticing it and I just can't help myself from not doing anything about it.

So how was the trip? I was away for 8 days but I didn't really miss home. We came before the start of the tournament so we had 2 free days to go around Singapore. We went places and it was fun. I'm not really fond of animals but I enjoyed riding the elephant in the zoo. I also saw polar bears and flamingos. We went to Sentosa too where there were lots of interesting things to do which left me broke afterwards. I especially liked the Underwater World. Ok. I've got my hands up for being a first-timer.  I didn't like the smell of curry around the place though. Not that anyone else liked it. I mean, the smell of curry wasn't exactly confined in Sentosa. It was everywhere... The MRT, the convening room, the queue to Cinemania, the malls and even the airport. 

 I was able to go to shopping places but wasn't able to buy lots of stuff because of the limited time and the lack of idea as to what to buy. The important thing was to get pasalubong for my family and friends. As for the tournament, 2 teams and 2 adjudicators from our institution made it to the break. My team made it to the octofinals and my teammates are the 2nd and 3rd best speakers of Asia. I'm really happy for them. I guess I can say (or write) that I didn't let them down this time. At least things worked differently from our previous tournament when I screwed up and dragged the entire team with me. So now I'm ok. But it doesn't end here. Hard work is still needed in order to improve.
