I just found out that Heechul is enlisting in the army on September 1, which is next week. I totally did not expect he would enlist that soon. I knew there was a possibility he would enlist this year with Leeteuk, but not next month. I am so affected. I was supposed to read up on coco levy for my coverage later but here I am looking for more details on his military service.

I have been actually waiting for an announcement for their enlistment because I knew the older members would have to render their mandatory military service soon and, ok don't laugh but,  I would like to be part of the send-off. S.M. Entertainment, Super Junior's talent agency however said it is not organizing a grand send-off because Heechul wants to join the army without any fanfare. A part of me thinks though that ELFs will  somehow find a way to see  and do something for Heechul prior to his military service.

I will definitely miss him, especially when I see only nine members performing as promotions for the 5th jib are ongoing.
